About Me

As one may most likely note from the website title, my name is Rietta Steffen. I am a current undergraduate student, with a graduation date of December 2022, attending Marist College, as I pursue my major degree in English with a concentration in writing while also obtaining a minor in psychology.

My love of English, in particular, writing, came about when I entered the eighth grade. In my English class, I was intrigued with sentence structure and the patterns found within writing. This adoration bloomed into a love for the writing field and the way stories, pictures, lives, emotions, and so much more could be created with a certain pattern of words, structure of sentences, or simply the reader's imagination.

When it comes to writing, I am always willing to try new styles (even if the writing may be a little rocky at first), and learn as I go. I am a strong-willed, optimistic, leader who is always open to new ideas and growing independently or with a team.
